I went to a temple
And was rapt in a butterfly.
My guide asked, Why
Ae you looking at the butterfly
Instead of at the deity?
I replied, To look upon a creature of the light and air,
With colours and form so perfect,so fair
Is, indeed, to look upon the face of the Almighty!

In Bengali, the butterfly is called Prajapati...which is one of the names given to God, too!
