Volunteering for some birding at last....

Finally, I got to know enough people, and I was told that I did have enough knowledge about the common birds of Forest Park, to volunteer for

this event

The St.Louis Audubon Society is organizing this to celebrate International Migratory Bird Day....bird migration occurs across thousands of miles, and knows no political or geographical frontiers....a most amazing annual spectacle!

next Saturday. I'm really looking forward to meeting more people! One of the birders told me last time, he'd enjoy the irony of a visitor from halfway across the world showing the local people their birds!

Wondering what the weather will be dot com is not giving me much comfort!

Our Earth Day visit to Forest Park was cut short by the cold rain; let's see what the next weekend brings!
